Study notes

Unit 1 is the language of motion. Keep scalars (distance, speed) separate from vectors (displacement, velocity, acceleration), and always pick a positive direction. Know the kinematic equations for constant acceleration and when they apply, and read motion graphs fluently: slope of position-time is velocity, slope of velocity-time is acceleration, and area under velocity-time is displacement. Finish with vector components, projectile motion (horizontal velocity constant, vertical acceleration g), and relative motion between reference frames.
