taken musical theatre + chamber with him while i was at SLOHS. in my experience, his teaching style is very direct. he asks non rhetorical questions. wants his students to become better performers + learn a lot

Workload is simple and easy: you sing(even if you sing bad). If you don’t sing you get a bad grade. Super engaging and funny, although not everyone’s taste. Does play favorites, but his favorites are just the people who put in the most effort.

I’ve taken intro to vocals 3rd period and it’s a really good experience the teacher is very good and somewhat strict to rules and behaviors but overall all students are very welcoming and supportive
